In 2003: PalmSource delivers OS6 Golden Master to Licensees.

Although as far as I'm aware this never actually made it into any production devices. It was a shame, too little and too late really to get the Palm ecosystem back on target. It had lost too much ground by then.

Have any Bhajis Loops instruments, or looking for some to use?

Well you find lots in the Palmorama Bhajis Loops instrument site and if you want to contribute (and you'd be very welcome) just contact me using the form in the about page, I'd be very happy to hear from you.

Yeah, there's still some pretty interesting Palm stuff around

Although you do need to dig fairly hard these days to find it. But I just found something quite interesting. It's just a page, sitting at but it has a bunch of apps on there that I'd never heard of before and never had a chance to try out either.

Of most interest is httpd, a web server for Palm OS. Now that's cool, really cool. I'll give it a go and see what it does.

Why not take a look in the Palmorama library

All you need to do is click above where it says library, or click here. There's lots of good stuff in there, and I'm doing my best to continue to add to it on a regular basis.

And the next app in my fav list ...

The third app in my favs list is Bird. This is a real swiss army knife of Palm OS apps. If you're making apps and adding resources to them. Whenever I make things I always use Bird. It's excellent.

The next app in my favs list

The second app in my favs list is AxisPad. One of the last apps to come out of the excellent miniMusic studio for Palm OS music apps, and it was enormous fun to use and play around with. I miss miniMusic and the great stuff that they did.

There's even Palm stuff on Pinterest

If you're a pinterest user you can find the Palmorama pinterest board here. I add stuff to it occasionally, so it's worth checking every once in a while to see if there's anything new.

Geode GPS Springboard module still on eBay

I just noticed that this is still on eBay, so I thought I'd mention it again as it really is pretty rare.

GeoDiscovery Geode GPS Springboard Module For Handspring Visor on eBay

The first entry on my Favourite Palm App list is ...

ViziBasic. On the one hand I am a bit sad that it hasn't been updated. There were a few things that I would've like to have seen get added, but let's be honest, that simply isn't going to happen now is it, and that's ok. Even so, it's super useful. I've made loads of things with it, some shared, and some not. It's fun to use and quite easy too.

There'll be another app in my favs list tomorrow.

Still nothing from MyNewPalm

Periodically I check this ( to see if there's anything happening, and since I first posted on it almost 2 years ago nothing at all has happened. It's a real shame.

I'll probably keep checking every now and then, but that'll be about it. I don't really expect to see anything new.

Coming up ... Some of my favourite apps for Palm

It's that time of year for making lists, so I thought I'd write up a list of some of my favourite apps for the venerable old Palm OS. These days it isn't a huge list, but I thought I'd start it off today with the apps that I keep on my old Treo 650, and then we'd see where we go from there.

The first entry in the list is coming soon.

More PixiLang

Showing off the animation is PixiLang. I always meant to do more with PixiLang, but never got round to it. Who knows though, maybe someday.
