This is something I've been toying with for a while now. I've been trying to get back my old data in Brainforest, and everything I've tried has failed. I think it gets back to the fact that I don't have the correct combination of hotsync user name and pass code. I can't seem to get it right
I think it's probably time to concede defeat on this one. I did take one last look on the internet to see if there was a way to get some support, and I was impressed that the company that makes it is still around. I've checked their site, and whilst they are still there, they don't offer support for this old Palm OS app. Not surprising really. At least there is still a page about the app.
So I think I'll give up on this one, unless a sudden flash of inspiration hits me!

BrainForest .pdbs can be opened directly in the desktop app, if you have that. I still really like BrainForest for certain specific tasks like packing lists - I don't know of another outliner that lets you hide two different levels of item separately, the ones with checkboxes turned off (because you don't need to think about them on this trip) and those with checkboxes ticked (because you've packed them and don't need to see them on your remaining to-dos).
