First chapter
I read the first chapter of the book yesterday. I have to admit that I didn't do all the examples, but I have done them all before. Let's see if I can keep it up.

PocketC

I've decided to go back to class. I am going (once again) to learn PocketC. I choose this language as it is a step toward learning C and migrating up to OnBoard C, or perhaps to PocketC Architect. Anyway, it is a place to start no matter what, and that's what I need to do more than anything. Start.
I'll let you know how I get on, if indeed I do get on with any of it.

Bamzooki
Now here's something that would be really cool on a palm device. My children love to watch this show on TV and they pestered me to download the software for them. So I did.
Then I played with it and realised just how cool it was, and how addictive. Now if someone made this for palm it would be excellent.

Thinking about C
I keep thinking about getting all those books out and starting to learn again. Maybe I should, maybe if I did I could write some of those apps that I keep dreaming about.

T3 Battery replacement
Well my first test on the T3 replacement battery has gone well. I used the T3 with Bhajis Loops for an hour and the battery dropped to 63%. With the old battery it would have dropped to 43% to 30%.
So far so good.
So far so good.

T3 Battery replacement
Well, I've just replaced the battery in my T3 with a new one. It took just over 30 minutes to do, but it all seems to work. It is on charge at present and we'll see how it all goes.

Playing with Pocket Poet
I had a bit of a play with Pocket Poet last night. I guess it wasn't exactly what I was after, but it is good. In many ways just like having a set of fridge magnets on your palm. You can't drag them around the screen, and at first I didn't like that, but then I realised that of course you wouldn't do that with a fridge magnet on a fridge, you'd pick it up and move it then slap it back down again.
I think I will buy Pocket Poetry as it is on sale at Palmgear at present, so I thought I'd take advantage of the fact.

Palm Sounds
Palm Sounds
A little plug for my other palm blog all about palm based music creation. You might find it interesting.

Pocket Poetry again!
Pocket Poetry again!
Yes, afraid so.
Pocket Poetry is on sale, as is everything at Palmgear at present, so I thought I'd take advantage of the fact.

Blogging from the Treo 650?
I've been looking at Palm blogging software, and I've just downloaded uBlog. I'm going to give that a go with my Treo and see if it is useful, as I'd like to be able to blog from wherever I am.
Ever since I posted yesterday
Ever since I posted yesterday I've been thinking about this issue, and I've decided that I have to keep the T3, so I've ordered a new battery for it and we'll see what happens with that.

The dilema of 2 PDAs
Currently I own a T3 and a Treo 650. Both are nice machines, but why do I need two?
Good question, and one I ask more often of myself these days.
The T3 has loads of memory and a 400mhz processor, whereas the Treo 650 only has about 23mb of RAM (as opposed to 52mb on the T3) which does cause a bit of an issue.
If I wanted to replicate everything from my T3 to my Treo I'd need to decide what I needed and what could go. That's not too easy. I have over 30mb of apps on the T3, so a lot of stuff would bite the dust.
I have to start to do something though.
Why?
Good question. Because my battery on my T3 has had it. I get about an hour of life out of a charge which is not good at all. So I've moved my diary over so far. It feels odd having it on the Treo though, and it also feels like a weird half way affair where nothing is really in the right place.
Perhaps I should bite the bullet and buy a replacement battery for the T3.
Perhaps I should ditch the Treo and get an ordinary phone?
I don't know. It is a hard thing to sort out.
